Got question is it possible or should I say can one have a colonoscopy without sedation? And if not what is the best possible way to have this done being awake without discomfort.
they can be done without sedation, my bf has had a few both ways but from what i understand they are not able to get the best answers they may be ,looking for without the sedation
I have heard of the procedure both ways over the years. are you afraid of sedation? It's minimal. The bottom line... do it. my husband didn't and died when he didn't have to. best of luck.
I believe you could have it done, but unless there is a medical reason, why would you? It will probably be uncomfortable. I've had it done with sedation and didn't feel a thing. Talk it over with your doctor about non-sedation. Best wishes!
