i would treat that constantly with lip balm, keeping the surface of lips smooth. also, when microwaving an egg, pokke a little hole in the shell, so some of the excess heat can come out and not steam in your face when you crack the shell, medium power in the microwave
First off, I would stick an ice cube in your mouth. You can alternate between popsicles and cold water as well. This will decrease swelling and pain. Go to the store and stock up. Get some topical mouth analgesic containing benzocaine. This will help prevent infection. Milk or yogurt will help to coat the burn and help it heal. No spicy or sharp foods. I would stick with the soft stuff. If you develope a fever, chills or symptoms similar to a cold or flu, I would get seen by a dr. Dont mess with infections! Luckily, the mouth heals fast. Also- do not use chapstick until it is healed. Once the burn is cooled, you can use neosporin on lips. Good luck
