I'm not a nurse, but I would visit with your primary care doctor if you have one. I'm guessing if maybe you have a social anxiety issue at minimum. To not remember where you are is the part that worries me, because even though I have social anxiety issues, I don't forget where I am. I forget names, but that's how I've been for years since my spine injuries. I have ADD and have to use to do lists. I would recommend a to do list and for safety reasons, go see a doctor immediately. At minimum they should do some tests I think called cognitive testing and a brain scan. Good luck to you, and please be safe!
Hi Awesomegod,
Anytime anything associated with your brain is involved, such as with orientation and memory, you need to see your MD as soon as you possibly can. As the previous poster mentioned, it could be social anxiety disorder that you are experiencing. However, a visit to your MD for other screening tests, including possible labs, MRI or CT may be warranted. Good luck to you!
