dizziness,tachycardia

Hi, I have been experiencing on and off for six months dizzy spells also accompanied by tachycardia. My ears feel full. Dr. noted that my ear had a sucked in look but machine wasn't working to check pressure. She didn't believe the heart irrigularity was connected. I am also under the care of a muscular skeletal specialist for soft tissue damage done in 2007 from falling through a deck. I have recently come off an antidepressant so there are a lot of things that are going on. I do suffer from allergies but the antihistamine and decongestant has had no affect on dizziness and funny heart feelings. Thanks, Terri. (I'm 44 and my blood pressure is normal sitting and standing, not overweight).

My sis has been having similr symptoms for several months. She fas sinus problems and allergies. The dov said her sinus was draining into the ear. He put her on mucinex and an over the counter allergy medicine which made her heart beat funny and told her to take benadryl for the dizzies. chk with your doctor first.

Thanks, have been off antidepressant and they didn't figure this into equation. Have been using a nasal spray of salt and water and having some success. Thanks, see from your profile you are a teacher. Have an exam tomorrow and interview for Early Years degree, currently a teacher aide. Cheers for your comments. Terri.

Meds can cause the symptoms you describe ask your Doc if they could be reacting with each other, also anti depressants can make you have some arythmia .
