electric flashes

does anyone else have these flashes in the head like electric shockes.

iv'e had this for 13 years and still cannot get a REAL diagnosis...i know what you mean the jolt and tingling. my heart even starts racing and i feel dizzy and nauseated, ive came to live with it but its no picnic...i want a real diagnosis for where there is something we can do about it...

With drawal can cause them also EMF's( electro magnetic firleds) have you a lot of electric in your house and Yard it is now known the Smart meter can cause EMF problems .Dont know where you live but most in CA now have this meter .

please contact me, i have had this problem for more than 13 years, the dr. said it was anxiety so put me on lorazapam,it does help but i know there is more to this than just that...i would love to talk with you about this problem.pls email me at ***@****.  thanks, Raelene

I have them, they are called "head zaps" and they are no fun. Mine are always helped when I see my chiropractor. Another reason for them can be menopausal related, some ladies when they are having hormonal fluctuations, will experience these "zaps" actually it is not uncommon.

I would see your doctor and a chiropractor, hopefully, between the two, you will find relief.

Are any of you weaning of off an antidepressant? This can cause the electric shock feeling.
Another thing that can is if your neck is out of alignment. The nerves can pinched. A Chiropractor can help with this, but see your Dr first to see if something else is going on.

Wow this is happening to one of my brother in laws.  They have done so many tests and he is truly so scared to even sleep much less be alone.  He is still seeing doctors of all kinds.


Please keep me posted as I will to see if there is something any of us need to be checked for I know my brother in law would love to have something to understand.  His jolts are from the head down the back and visversa he says

i do..i have them all over my body tho...im trying to get a diagnosis now...it is like a jolt a jerk...so far i know nothing
