she diagnosed me with cervical discharge caused by infection. The bacteria of watery discharge causes burning and itching.( I still don't know where it could have come from) She gave me tiny electrical pulses (shock) inside, claiming without that treatment the infection will eventually reappear. I feel now that it is only one of the many ways to get more money out of me, since I still have to take suppositories plus douche for 6 days and then come back for another electric pulse treatment.

It belongs to the family of antinfectives and antiseptics, the douche is supposed to make sure that the tissue like cover of the suppository will come out the next morning. the electrical treatment is to ensure no reappearance of the same problem,

If she recommended an US for the ovary pain, that sounds correct.  If you can't afford it; that is another issue.   Ideally, you should get the US.

As remar said, sounds like the physician  was burning cell layers off your cervix; I know that exists, but why she is doing that for what sounds like an infection I do not know, unless the layers of your cervix were getting thick from the infection.

I would continue with the suppositories and the douche, but I would question the "electric pulse treatments."  I know the suppositories are medicated, but what is in the douche?   Ask her to explain again the purpose it serves.  You can always refuse this still; your right as a patient.  I would not completely right this off as a way for the physician "to get more money."

Keep us posted.

Are you sure she's not burning a layer of cells off your cervix? I've never heard of using an electrical treatment though.
If it were me, I would'nt get any more treatments. I would stick with the suppositories.
Did she tell you if this was an antibiotic? That's what you need for the bacterial infection.
If she's not giving you an antibiotic then it might be time to see another Dr. Take care. Remar
