when looking at a red object or screen such as tv sometimes get a flash of red with blue edges or just red flash, sometimes so bad I cannot watch tv ,happens particularly if someone is wearing red. is it a sign of anything else ?

I would also suggest you see a doctor.  A thorough eye exam from an opthamologist would be helpful.  If it's not an issue with your eyes, it could be a neurological issue.

Boognell has a good suggestion.  You might want to read up on Photosensitive Epilepsy to see if it describes your experiences.

Some people have seizures when they see flashing lights; I don't know if yours is a similar condition. Youi should see a physician and tell him/her though. Good luck and God bless.
