heavy periods stop suddenly 47

I had very heavy periods, all the sudden they stopped to very light, I'm 47 should I be concerned

Menopause might be the cause. I'm not a medical professional, but anywhere between 40 - 55 is when menopause sets in. It's usually best to contact your doctor and schedule a check-up visit.

I'm very sorry that u experiencing this, I had a heavy period this month with some big block of clots but with no signs of pain or discomfort expert when the clots come out. went to the doctor and he said this may be because of stress and going through different emotions which indeed it was.  he gave me some medicine and pain killer and now in same month my period was due which come one day before its due. it got heavy first day but the nxt day it was light very light with small clots. My next appointment is on monday,  hope u see the doc about heavy bleeding sometimes its not healthy
