i am having a miscarriage
I was sent for a emergency ultrasound 3 days ago, i was ment to be 11 weeks but it had stopped growing at 7 weeks. it was still all intact and the dr presribed me progestrone to expell it, i had to take 3 tablets twice a day for 2 days, but there is still nothing, just alittle bit of cramping, how long will this take or will i need to go to hospital for a d&c
I haven't heard of getting progesterone to terminate a pregnancy, but I'm not a doctor. I'd recommend contacting your doctor as well. Typically, they prefer to do a D&C to reduce risk of infection or other complications.
Call your doctor back and tell him ... you do not want to risk an infection as it could make you sterile.
