lymph nodes?

I'm driving myself insane...

For about a week, I've been having issues with my ears ringing constantly (worse when my surroundings are quiet), pain in my ears, pain/swelling in the lymph nodes below my ears, and just last night I started having pain in the space between my right breast and armpit. I'm also always tired and I have a white coating on my tongue almost 24/7...

Off subject, but I dont get my period regularly (maybe once a year), so I'm scared about cancer... Ive heard that reproductive cancers spread through lymph nodes, so I'm freaking out!

What could be making me feel this way?

Well, can't say you do or don't have anxiety, but if you do it sounds like it is secondary to your physical medical issues and NOT the main issue in my opinion.

Definitely go where you are going to be taken seriously.

Alot of physicians are playing the "anxiety/depression" card alot these days for various reasons that have nothing to do with truely helping patients.

Then, you have physicians that just see an obese person and think he/she is just not eating properly and exercising, which is NOT the case for ALL obese people.

Family planning is basically a gyno clinic for low budget income people. I also go to a regular medical clinic and they don't take me seriously most the time. Every concern I have, they blow it off as anxiety..

Well dear, the only tip I have for the worrying is NOT to worry about something that is NOT a reality.  It is a reality something is going on with your body, but there is NO reality you have been diagnosed with cancer.  In my opinion, sounds like something autoimmune that can be managed.

I am sure the liver issue has to do with your obesity/weight.

Get to an Endocrinologist ASAP.  What is "family planning?"

The only lab that was abnormal was my liver protein, it was a little high. But I've heard that can be caused by being overweight.

I'm going to family planning on Jan 16 for a complete physical... As much a I'm dreading this appointment, I know I'll feel better if they figure out what's wrong.

I've read about hypothyroid and I have a lot of the symptoms, but the doctor said that my thyroid is fine... So said the one blood test done for my thyroid.

Honestly, little things keep happening that scare me. It's not like they come on gradually, it's more of a "not there" then "bam! There it is!". Especially with the feeling of my lymph nodes in my neck being swollen and then with the pain in my breast.

I'm really worrying myself and constantly thinking about cancer. My dad is severely disabled, so I have so much to deal with, with him. :/ I need some reassurance.

I have just read your other posts.  PCOS is a HIGH possibility especially in regards to your weight and periods.

Endocrinologist referral recommended.

You only get your cycle once a year?  Has your doctor investigated this at all?

Sounds like something autoimmune or infectious.  In my opinion it doesn't sound like any cancer.

Any labs abnormal?

I would recommend as the above poster has mentioned the above labs to rule out a thyroid issue.  A TSH lab alone is NOT sufficient enough to rule out a thyroid issue.

Ask for a referral to an Endocrinologist and get his/her opinion.

Have you looked into hypothyroidism? Not the easiest condition to diagnose sometimes as the standard test TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) can be "normal" with this condition.  A more indepth testing can include TSH, free T3, free T4, Reverse T3 and thyroid antibodies - TPOAb and TgAb. The most common cause of hypothyroidism due to Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (autoimmune hypothyroidism).

The symptoms of hypothyroidism are quite long as every cell in the body needs thyroid hormone however symptoms include fatigue, depression, affected menstrual cycle, swollen lymph nodes, droopy eyelid/s (had a quick look at your other question lol), yeast infections (common cause of white coated tongue), tinnitus. As the metabolism has slowed down, unexplained weight gain is a very common sign of hypothyroidism. Worth checking out just in case.

The whole lymph node thing came on very suddenly, like within 2 days I noticed it. I'm only 23...

well the ringing in your ears could be a blood pressure problem but when you state everything and add it all together, then I think you should be checked out by a doctor for breast cancer and/or reproductive cancers. Talk to your doctors, if there is nothing wrong they will be able to tell you.
