i am 20 yrs old and i dont have normal periods, i bleed for 2 days and stop then cont. again ill stop for 3 days at times and start again what can it be i have been to the dr and can not find anything,and i dont have children either.

you might have fibriods or clots that requierer a uterine scrapping.bleedng like that suck.i bled like that,i had fibroids they got bigger and made my menstuation days painful they had to go.

You could possibly be experiencing PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome).
This causes you to have irregular periods.
It also might not be that your menstrual cycle stops, but you tend to spot very lightly.
You should get checked out as soon as you can.
PCOS could cause you to get cysts on your ovaries if you do not cycle right.
Birth control can regulate PCOS.
I had to take birth control pills up to four years.
It helps with severe cramping, if you have any, blood flow(menstrual), regulation(menstrual), and hormonal balances.
