shooting pain

Hi, I am 45yr old male and i have a massive pain thats at the bottom of my rib cage on the right side. When i touch it i get a huge pain that makes me jump...then it goes away. If i wait a few minutes and touch it again or bump it accidentally i get the same pain. I have had some broken ribs in that location that were repaired surgically approx 15 yrs ago but this pain is much different. It doesnt really hurt when i move...only when i touch it or roll over in bed. It has started to intensify over the past week and dont know if it might be a liver problem. I dont drink but i do take oxycodone due to fracturing my back 5 years ago. I only ask because i lost my insurance and have been out of work recently. I'm also going thru therapy to strengthen my back but it doesnt feel like a muscle and i would think it would hurt on both sides if it was due to therapy. Thanks

Perhaps some gall bladder cholic, put gall bladder into your search engine, the pain is usually severe and it starts on the right under the ribs and can radiate up into the back on that side, it usually comes on after eating and it tells you when you research it not to eat at night, go low Fat, and dairy and wheat can trigger it.
