vitamin d

hi, my vit d was 21 nmol been taking 60,000 iu d3 once a week for 10 weeks its now 160 dont feel an awful lot better yet. is it best to continue to take say 1000 iu a day

I would make an appointment with your Doctor it sounds like you have a Vitamin B12 deficiency which is nothing you just need more iron & have anemia & a chemical imbalance. If that level gets to low from what my doctors And my husband tell me it can get very serious & kill you if not treated so continue to take the medicine meanwhile make an appointment really quick with your primary doctor. They will change it. It could be a reaction to the medicine. without going to a doctor it's hard to tell but definately definitaly stay on the medicine until you see the Dr.

hi, am taking,1000 iu vit d,magnesium, lycopene, selenium,multi mineral vitamin, my doctor just said stop taking vit d altogether and come back in 1 year for blood test. my calcium seemed OK
But dont like that idea going off it, going to se encronologist in 2 weeks see find out why so low

The latest suggestion is to take 2000 IU a day.  

You could add some other supplements to help you feel better also.  Send me a note if you want some ideas.  I will want more info.
