I had a screw put in my fractured scaphoid bone and had surgery. Six weeks after having surgery I was told by my doctor that the scaphoid bone completely healed and that I was cleared to resume normal activity. I play baseball, and right now I am trying to slowly work back into being able to throw 100%. I noticed that when I throw, besides the stiffness and soreness, there is a slight sharp pain around the area where the scaphoid bone is. Is it normal to have this pain for a little bit after being cleared from surgery, or should I be worried that the bone didn't completely heal yet?
