I'm rather frightened of the surgery I'm having in a month. I have a solitary fibrous tumor of the pleura about 10cm, and as Arnold would say "It has to come oooowut." My surgeon says the incision will be on my right side, about where the middle of my upper arm rests. I've been told I will be hospitalized 3 to 5 days (with a chest tube) and then to expect 3 to 5 weeks recovery. I am worried about how much pain I'll be, and just don't know what to expect. What is your experience? Thanks.
