Almost 4 years

On July 2nd,it will be 4 years since my mom passed away.Still not a day goes by that I dont think about her miss her, have things I want to share with her or cuddle next to her.I know it always gets worse at this time of the year.
Yes I can cope with this better this year than last but only because I have to.I have gotten really good at trying to block it all out & it seems to help some, but at times all I can do is cry because I miss her so deeply.

On that day I will go to her grave take flowers & remember the blessed days God gave us together believing that one day he will bless us with those days again.

I just read your post and it gave me some comfort.  I lost my mom almost six years ago and I don't think I have been able to move forward at all.  I am so sorry for you because I know what you are going through.

My mother also had cancer,(read from your profile)Our lives have forever changed.Look to God & he will get you through one day at a time.

I'm sorry to hear about your mom.  I can feel your pain.  I lost my mom 3 years ago and I miss her so much and also cry alot at times.  Holidays are not the same without her.  Like the Cuban saying "madre unica." Only one mother, no one can ever replace her.
