Period help

I have had brown discharge with clotting and have like little fragment looking things in my urine yesterday. Well today I have some red bleeding with some of the still brown discharge. My period is normally heavy Iv been on birth control since I was young due to prolonged periods. I am also experiencing cramping but its all still light this is my second day of it. I took a pregnancy test 2 days before missed period test picks up 5 days before test came up neg. but I do have the flu with high fever wat could be going on?? HELP plz!!!

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that if your pregnancy test is negative, you are probably not pregnant, but I always recommend repeating the test in about a week.  It may simply be that the stress from your viral infection has affected this cycle.  You may want to consider a urinalysis to be sure you don't have a urinary tract infection.

Thank you so much! Just one more thing I haven't been able to drink much and I can tell I'm dehydrated could that play a part in the cycle being off? Also my temp has stayed between 101-103. I am on Yaz Iv been on it for prolonged periods since I was 12. I still usually have medium to heavy cycle but I'm having sticky dark red clotting over the size of a quarter do I have any reason to worry?
