I am not sure my yeast infection is cleared up after 2 doses of Diflucan and last week I had an experience where a man had his hands all over and in my vagina then he put his fingers in his mouth to stimulate me even more! Is this dangerous? If I have vaginal yeast could he get it in his mouth? Worried and wondered if I should let him know. Thanks.
Hi! If you were my patient, I would advise you that people have yeast all over their body at all times. We call it an infection when the yeast overcome the normal bacteria and become symptomatic. It is possible for the male partner to "catch" yeast from the female partner during intercourse, but if you have been treated with Diflucan, the chance of this happening is pretty small. It never hurts to tell someone, but is probably not necessary in this case. Good luck! Dr B
