Thank you. I do have the operation report but cannot understand it but shall be asking my GP to explain it to me tomorrow.
Just to let you know that my uterus and bladder were adhered to each other and this was cause of my bladder injury. There was no attempt to repair it intraoperatively. This is something I am very angry with my local hospital about.
Hello,
I'm sorry you have had such a difficult time related to your original surgery, but I am glad to hear you are improving.
Ovarian cysts can come and go over time so an ovary changing in appearance is not unusual. To know how the left ovary looked at the time of the TAH you should request the operative report from that surgery. In that report the surgeon should have dictated the condition of the uterus, tubes and ovaries and any other pertinent findings. An operative report becomes a part of your medical record, so you have every right to have access to it.
Best regards,
Dr. Downing
