Too Frequent period

I am 26 years old married woman. I have  Hypothyroid, frequent period (in every 17-18 days) and Hirsutism. Currently I am taking Synthroid( half of .075 MG), Aldactone 100MG( twice a day).
My period are always been frequent since they started ( in the age of 13). Recently my doc took vaginal and abdominal ultrasound. She found that I have Poly cystic ovaries. But she told me that I don't have PCOS as my periods are very frequent. Then she took some more blood work. And she doubt that I have Late Onset CAH. But she is not sure on this as well.
Could you please suggest me that which doc should I consult? And why my period are so frequent. And what is the best treatment to regulate periods?

Thanks for your response.
Could you please suggest the name of oral contraceptive pills which help me in regulating my periods and hirsutism? How long can I take these pills if I don't plan for a baby?

My doc took all the test. First they took my blood sample, and then gave me a injuction of Cortrosyn. Then I had to wait 45 min. After that again they took my blood sample.I wrote both the figures of my result( before and after 45 min of injection).
Test Name                    Result             Ref. range
ACTH                     :   22.5 pg/ml         0.0-56.0
Cortisol Baseline     :   16.1 ug/dl          2.5-25.0
Cortisol (45 Min)      :   25.6 ug/dl
17-OHProg (0 Min)   :   3.82 ng/ml        0-1-3.3
17-OHProg (45 Min) :   4.81 ng/ml

After 2 month she again took my blood work. This time they didn't give me the injection. This time the results were:
Test Name                    Result             Ref. range
ACTH                     :   26.7 pg/ml         0.0-56.0
Cortisol                   :   18.6 ug/dl          5.0-25.0
17-OHProg              :   2.6 ng/ml           0-1-3.3

So this time all the levels in the reference range. So my doc have doubt that I have CAH or not. Can you please suggest me what should I do?
According to result, If I dont have CAH or PCOS, then what it is?

Thanks!!

Hi!
The type of doctor I would refer you to, if you were my patient, is an Endocrinologist, or a Reproductive Endocrinologist (even better).  An AM 17 OH progesterone test should be able to diagnose CAH.  Also, oral contraceptive pills help to reduce hirsuitism and would regulate your periods if you are not attempting pregnancy. For the hair growth that is already present, you will need to consider laser or electrolysis. The medications work best to reduce new growth, but don't do much for the established hair.  If you were my patient, I would definitely consider the oral contraceptives strongly, because Aldactone can cause birth defects if taken during pregnancy.
I hope this helps!
