I asked why can't you just take out my ovary? She said thats not going to fix the problem you need a hysterectomy. 13 years of heavy bleeding and severe pain on left side and dermrod and 2 other kinds of cyst removed. what to do

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would ask you the big question--do you want children?  Because after a hysterectomy there is no going back. I would suggest a second opinion to anyone as young as you are.  I would also recommend giving the Lupron shot a good chance--at least a few months.  It will stop the bleeding and reduce the pain (in many cases) AND you can preserve your fertility.
Good luck!
