BOIL?

2 DAYS AGO,I HAD WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE A PIMPLE ON THE SKIN OF MY VAGINA.YESTERDAY IT BECAME BIGGER AND TODAY,I COULD HARDLY WALK BECAUSE OF PAIN.MY OB-GYNE SAID IT WAS A BOIL.CAN ANYONE HELP ME>?IS IT JUST THAT? OR IS IT POSSIBLE THAT I SHOULD MEET A DERMATOLOGIST?
PLEASE HELP ME

regarding the boil.  I too have had boils in the vaginal area and if you have gone to the doctor and he/she is telling you that is what it is then im sure that is what it is.  My gyno said that what causes them is when my pores get clogged from sweating in the vaginal area during excercise.  What I do when they become large and painful is I take a straight pin and some alcohol and I
stick a pin in the center and drain it.  It is like a large pimple and after it drains it just goes away.  It usually takes several days after draining it before it completely disappears.  I get them every so often.

Good luck, don't worry it is normal.  You should also ask your gyno about an antibiotic ointment.  My doctor gave me an ointment that I used on the boils and it would make them dry up faster.
