I've tried 3 different kinds of birth controls (Lutera Levora & now Tri-nessa) in the last 3 months to help with my sever migraines. The goal was to have a period every 3 months to avoid month migraines with my period. And during these three months I have experienced continuous bleeding. About two weeks ago I started taking Tri-Nessa and i still am bleeding (definitely more than a spotting). Although now I have unbearable cramping that I have never experienced, heavier bleeding than with the last 2 pills and twice now in the last 2 days these skin-like pieces are coming out of me. They're not blood clots. They're skin-like and rubbery with blood on them. What is this and should I be worried?
I'm on Ovarnette. Ok there is just 21, no placebo, I will just have to remember to start taking them again. Now my new question is will I get the period on the day I should which is tomorrow or did taking the first pill before my period affected the new period and it will occur later (when i take all 21 pills) ? Still having abdominal pain and breast tenderness.
Thank you very much
Hi!
If you were my patient, I would first ask you which pill you are taking. Most pills have placebos unless they are either progesterone only (mini pill) or Seasonique which is designed to delay your period. Typically bleeding should not occur during the medication-containing pills--only during the placebos. Breakthrough bleeding though, is common and unpredictable.
Good luck!
