persistent gas postpartum

I had a vaginal birth 6 months ago.  Since then I have experienced persistent gas. often uncontrollable-quite embarassing.  Also noticed, that I am bleeding (slightly) after a long workout or run. IS this cause for alarm?

You didn't mention from where the gas come: from anus or from vagina??
If gas come from vagina , if mean that you had - most propably - recto-vaginal fistula, which needs surgery to close it
