Hi!
I'm not sure how long ago your hysterectomy was--if within the past 6 weeks, it could be normal to have some bleeding.  If it has been longer ago than that, bleeding would not be normal.  If you were my patient, I would examine you and check for a prolapsed (dropped)bladder. This happens fairly commonly after hysterectomy. I would also do a urinalysis to check for a bladder infection.

If you were my patient, I would definitely want you to call for an appointment!

Good luck!

Off late for past 6mnths my periods last for 5days with spotting upto next three- four days.Bleeding is heavy for first 4 days. I have low hemoglobin and take medicine for it. Is it of concern? Do I need examination?
