I won't be able to help you with exact numbers, but what I can tell you is that fraternal twins ARE hereditary, so your risk for twins again IS increased. ALSO as women age, the incidence of twins increases. As for AML. there DOES appear to be a hereditary link. First degree relatives (such as sisters and brothers) of AML patients have a three-fold increased risk for developing the disease.
I am very sorry to hear your story, and can completely understand your concerns. If you want that girl badly enough, it is probably worth the risk. But of course you must think in terms of what is best for the whole family.
