Periods twice in a month

I had my periods previous week. On 5th day, had unprotected sex with my bf. Immediately following, I had a contraceptive pill. Just after 6 days, I had vaginal bleeding again. It was dark brownish-colored and not much in volume. It lasted for couple of days. Could that indicate that am pregnant or anything else. Please suggest. Am worried

Hi
It can't hurt to take a test.  I think many people confuse breakthrough bleeding with implantation bleeding.  If you are on the birth control pills regularly, and taking as directed, you should be OK.  If you have missed any, or taken them late, you may be having bleeding for that reason.  Typically, the preg test will be positive by the day of the next expected period, if it is going to be!

Good luck!

Also, it would be helpful if you can explain me in little descriptive the pregnancy termination procedure using pill, would I be requiring any hospital stay in the process? Could that cause any issues in future when I want to conceive.

Thanks for the advice and clearing my doubts Elaine. I'd wait untill my next dates...if I miss the dates, will get tests done. Till what time is it safe to get an abortion done through administering pill?
