brown blood??

So I have been on birth control, Lessina, since November but two weekends ago I forgot my birth control at home while I went to my friends, I thought nothing of it because my boyfriend and I didn't have sex within a week period.  And I thought I got my period on Tuesday and its still just brown and its way too light to be my period. . . Whats wrong with me? Like could this be from my birth control or could I be pregnant?

Hi!
The first thing that I ALWAYS recommend is a pregnancy test.  It is entirely possible that the light bleeding you are having is due to your birth control method, but pregnancy needs to be ruled out first. Most home pregnancy tests will become positive at around the time of the missed period, so your test should be accurate.  If your period does not become heavier and your test is negative, I would suggest repeating the test in a week or so.
A blood test now would be definitive also.
Good luck!
