ovarian cyst

When having an ultrasound, what does it mean when the ovary and the cyst are deep black? cyst is 3cm and ovary is enlarged. Is there a site I can go to to see pictures of ovarian cysts and their diagnosis?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I probably should have mentioned that I have Had the cyst For a full year and that there was a line through what appeared to be two black, different sized circular areas. I looked online and found a picture of what it looked like an it said it was a septated cyst. I can barely move around and am having a great deal of pain in my lower abdomin. I am tired alot and my joints hurt. My abdomin is very swollen. I should get my results today from my Dr. but wanted as many opinions as possible.

Hi!
Usually a deep black cyst is a simple, fluid filled cyst.  Those are often follicular cysts and often resolve on their own.  Most of the time a follow up ultrasound is all that is needed.
Here is a site with excellent images:

Good luck!
