Was there a HIV risk?

Doc,

Tonight I had unprotected oral sex(both ways, i went down on her and she went down on me) with a british sex worker and then protected sex. She was very clean and informed me that she gets tested regularly. I am a little worried but I guess I didn't learn the first time. What are the risks for hiv with that exposer and should I get tested soon? thanks!

And now I have a sore throat. Although I think 24 hours after possible exposer is a bit soon for symtoms isnt it? Also, did the activities I did put me at risk for hiv?

I agree with you on the regular screening. Luckily for me I am in the military and got tested last month and was negative. So this would be the only experience for me which I am at risk. The diarrhoea was something else, its already gone, something I ate I think. I just hope I didn't get HIV from the unprotected oral I performed on her or the protected vaginal sex. thanks

Hello

I can't see any particular risk for HIV with what you have described.

I do think all sexually active adults should have regular screens as a matter of course - you are no exception and I think you need to have a periodic screen from time to time.

Your diarrhoea is likely irrelevant and is certainly not  a feature of HIV,

very best wishes, Sean

Just an update. It has been about 12 hours since I visited the escort and now I'm starting to have strange problems with diarrhea. Is this is in any connected?
