Hiv std risk

Dear doctor,

I'm a man. I know a lady if 30 years. She always had a relation ship and was tested until a year ago.

I had until now only kissing and oral sex with her..

She gave me a blowjob twice now and I performed cunnilingus on her one time while for sure she was not having her period.

I didn't notice any sore on her clitoris or vagina but I had during cunnilingus couple if afts / sores in my mouth which I get from time to time.

I know I have been in risk for some stds but now 2 weekend I haven't have any symptoms of something looks like std.

What is my risk for catching hiv from this and what if she had an std, that would lift the hiv with it?

Thanks for your answer doctor

Hello,
Thank you for you post.
None of the sexual practices mentioned (oral sex and kissing) would have involved any risk of HIV infection, even in the unlikely event that this lady was positive, and regardless if she had other STDs.  However oral sex does involve other risks, especially STIs like Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea and others.
Best wishes,
Dr José

A man i was involved with was recently diagnosed with HPV 16 oral cancer. The Drs have told him that he likely contacted it 30 years ago and for some reason it was activated recently. He told me that P.A. at a very prestigious cancer center told him that "risque" sex, anal sex, andor promiscuous sex could have "awakened" the virus. This sounds preposterous, non-scientific, and judgmental to me. How would the virus be able to distinguish between oral, anal, or vaginal sex, and does the word "risque" even belong in this converstaion???Please advise. I understand that the transmission of HPV may be greater or lesser depending on the type of sexual activity, but I cannot fathom that "risque" anal sex could cause a reawakening of the virus any more so than any other type of sex, and suggesting that sexual activity in itself reawakens a virus seems a ridiculous proposition. If this was the case you would think these long dormant HPVs would be reawakening in epic proportions in the population. Please clear this up for me! I can find no info on the web that suggests any other cause of reawakening aside from general weakned immune systems. Thank you.

Thanks for your answer doctor.

But if she would even have other stds I would have / might have felt some symptoms which they are not there at all. Not saying 100% but most probably

Am I right?
