Dear Doctor,
I am currently quite worried about my case. Last week, I went to a HIV Prevention Center to donate some funds to them. While talking to the officers there, I felt thirsty so I asked them for a water glass. Then I saw them taking a glass from a room where the children were infected with HIV were staying. At that time, I didn't pay attention to the fact that I was having a ulcer below my tongue.
My concern is if a certain child there was having the illness of stump bleeding and used the glass before I did, would I have any risk of HIV infection through my mouth ulcer as aforementioned? If yes, when should I need to undertake an HIV test? By what method?
I am honestly looking forward to your kind answer to my aforementioned case.
Best regards
