Hi docter please put my mind at rest.
I posted a week or so ago in the STD forum and Edward did prettty much put my mind at rest but it's still worrying me a little
on the 28th of july I visited a sex worker she was quite old maybe 50 and was pretty skinny. We gave each other oral I came I'm her mouth and gave her oral for about 15 mins. The next day my tounge hert a little underneath and I started worrying that maybe I had damaged the little bit of membrain, not sure though,
after 5 days I got a sore throat and bit of a dry cough wichita I still have, thick phlegm in the morning but dry at night.
3 weeks have passed I've still got the cough and I've had bad pink eye for a week , spoke to docter on the phone and he said it could be oral clamidia, I've also had a bit of a itchy body not loads but enough to make me notice it. And a bit of a lack of appitite witch started the same time as the cough.
Questions 1. How likely is it I could have got HIV I read it was Easyer to get if you have another STD and it looks like I might have oral clamidia,
2 I read there has only been a handfull of cases of oral HIV infection out of the 85 million cases worldwide but then I read a case on hear wear someone had vigina sex aswell as oral and some said it was a 1200 to 1 shot is this becouse of the vigina sex rather then the oral?
3. I'm now realy scared to sleep with my wife as I don't want her to get HIV if I have it, I'm I getting a bit to paranoid hear?
4 are my symtoms common for a early HIV infecton?
5 how soon should I get tested I was told 3 months but could I do this before that I do need a accurite test?

I came to see you today for the dueo HIV test and you was very nice and told me to relax and we even joked about the old sex worker . You said my result whould be negative and I pretty much beleved you but once I got home I phoned and got my result as you predicted it was negative you was right I felt all my stress of the last six weeks leaving me strait away it was a amazing feeling!!

I think I was completley clear with my first answer. All I can add is that even though the risk of HIV infection was extremely low, if you want complete peace of mind, you need to get a test at the appropriate time. You have been tested for oral /throat Chlamydia and the treatment for this is doxycycline 100mg anyway. This should sort your symptoms out if it is indeed Chlamydia. I think that the only thing that is going to help your worry and anxiety is to get tested for HIV. I am sure that the result is going to be negative.

Dr please reply I've also had a bit of a neck ach I was not botherd by this untill my wife complains about her neck being sore when she turns her head to the right or bends it down, still very worried please tell me to stop worrying, I'm worried

Thanks docter as you can amagin I'm still worrying mainly becouse ivebern having weird syptoms that quite frankly imnot used to and theystarted 5 daysafter my exposer , bothmy eyes got conjutivitis I spoke to the gum clinic and they said it could possable be oral clamidia but this dose not normally corse syptoms anyway they took a eye swab and another throat swab just to check it out. I've also had a pretty itchy body now for 5 days alot on myface nose lip cheak ears and head I've scared myself again now idid a google search for itchy face STD and it though me back at a aids page and it sounds after reading
It that it could be Seborrheic dermititis I've not gone scaley yet but I have a greasey look to my skin and itch in all the right places. I've also still not got a full appitite and have lost a little weight. I've only had sex with my wife once since a straid away and that was three days after my sw visit. Yestoday my wife became very I'll and was sick with vomit and direrere. Which ended up comeing out a bluey green culour, she dose feel a little beter today but she's only been up half a hour.
I've also not been able to shack of my tired ness, the gum clinic doc did give me a weeks corse of 100 Mg doxy to take twice aday. But don't seem to be helping but has stopes the bad cough I had.
Please take the time to read my posts again as imnow scared again
why are they checking for oral clamidia and whould this explain my symtoms? Youdont mention oral clamidia as a possabilly are they treating me for the wrong thing as he gave me them as a procoution, whould they also treat ngu the same way?
I've asked before but please reasure me again even if I did damage my tounge while giving oral like I mean cut it while inserted in to the vergina is this still the same low risk of HIV? Dose my syptoms sound like any other STD you can think of? I'm realy frightomed espeally after my wife becoming so I'll

I DO NOT BELEIVE THAT YOU HAVE PUT YOURSELF AT RISK OF HIV INFECTION AT ALL WHATSOEVER. THE RISK OF HIV THROUGH ORAL SEX IS PRACTICALLY ZERO. THERE IS AN INCREASED RISK OF HIV TRANSMISSION IN THE PRESENCE OF ANOTHER STD WHEN PERFORMING UNPROTECTED PENETRATIVE SEX ONLY.

THEY COULD BE AS THEY ARE NON-SPECIFIC SYMPTOMS. HOWEVER I THINK THAT IF ANYTHING THEY ARE MORE LIKELY TO BE POSSIBLY CAUSED BY EITHE THROAT CHLAMYDIA OR THROAT GONORRHOEA. YOU NEED TO HAVE A THROAT SWAB TO TEST FOR THESE.

Still very itchy espesally on my face and still have a cough and sore throat, the itching only started a couple of days ago, but the sore throat and cough which is phlemmy in the morning and the dry for the rest of the day, I've also experenced a lack of appitite for about the same time as the cough also I felt very feverish at about day ten and have been feeling pretty tired most days since , can you please tell me that these syptoms are not typical of a HIV early infection , I keep worrying as I'm not sure if I damaged the membrain under the tounge whilst giving oral ,
