I am sure from what you say that you are HIV negative. Leaving aside the nature of the HIV tests themselves for a moment, you didn't actually have a significant risk at all. Performing oral sex on a female, even if she is HIV positive, represents absolutely minimal if at all risk. There are a very small number of patient reported cases world wide out of a total of perhaps 80 or so million. Secondly, you had protected vaginal sex with her = no risk her.
Regardless of the nature of the test the military use, it would have correctly identified you as an HIV positive or HIV negative person by the 5 month window. You may wish to test again at a clinic for reassurance purpsoes but I would urge you not to as I am certain you are HIV negative.

Just a note. i just read that the us military uses thea FDA-approved ELISA test kit. What does that mean about my 5 month post exposer test.
