Want to move on badly

Hi Docs,

I have a 1 exposure on the 11th March which I may have engaged into unprotected  exposure with a Csw in Shanghai ktv. Why i say potential unprotected is because I was too drunk to remember if I did penetrate her. Even if I did, it probably didn't last more than 10 secs.. From my experiences when I got dead drunk, my pensile usually could not have a half decent erection. So I really is skeptical whether i have penetrated.
I suddenly realized it and pushed her away and we have oral sex for each other. Afer I wake up, she is gone and I got no chance to verify with her.

Got into ultra panic mode and started reading everything I can find in the Internet.. This gets me even more confused and worried.

I went our to my country HIV specialist on the 7th April to do the DUO test, the results are negative. My doc tell me the test is conclusive and no follow up testing is required. The test is done on the 27.5 days( half day short ofnthen28 days)

My questions:

1) will the 12 hours makes any differenc?
2) in my case would you recommend retest to be conclusive?
3) did anyone really have 28 days negative turned positive?
4) I am thinking of doing a retest on the 12-13 weeks to get the official clearance from guidelines. But I am thinking,i have to believe on the 28 days DUO test and my doctor advice, if not then why did I go the test right?
6) do you agree with my doc that 1x testing is enough?
I am having panicking attack once in a while as I am planning going for IVF soon and I dun want mind wife or future babies to be infected.. I am so loss and feel so helpless

Lastly, the question of whether I did penetrate her of not keep flashing in my mind... My years of experiences told me that after under alcohol I couldn't do it... Why do I have to assume I DID penetrated her?
So sorry for the lengthy message... In severe panic mode

Thank you doctors

I am thinking to do 1 more test but I have been advised that my DUO test at 28 days and 11th Week AB test is already conclusive..

Do you agree? I read in some post that probably I need consuelling

Hello and good morning

You have asked the following:-

1) will the 12 hours makes any differenc?

No, I don't believe so.

2) in my case would you recommend retest to be conclusive?

Yes.

3) did anyone really have 28 days negative turned positive?

Well, it can be a worry - but I have never experienced this myself.

4) I am thinking of doing a retest on the 12-13 weeks to get the official clearance from guidelines. But I am thinking,i have to believe on the 28 days DUO test and my doctor advice, if not then why did I go the test right?

If you remain concerned I would just have a further test two weeks after the last one - that will be sufficient.

6) do you agree with my doc that 1x testing is enough?

Yes

I am having panicking attack once in a while as I am planning going for IVF soon and I dun want mind wife or future babies to be infected.. I am so loss and feel so helpless

Lastly, the question of whether I did penetrate her of not keep flashing in my mind... My years of experiences told me that after under alcohol I couldn't do it... Why do I have to assume I DID penetrated her?

I think we have a natural tendency when we are panicked to think the worst. I think this is all that has happened.

Kind regards, Sean
