11.5 WEEKS HIV NEGATIVE CONCLUSIVE?

I am a male and had unprotected oral and protected vaginal sex with a woman I met at a bar 11.5 weeks ago. ( not proud because I am married) This has been a very stressfull time for me.  I test negative at 11.5 weeks, Is this conclusive?  Can I move on.  I would appreciate any responses.  God bless all!

You do not have HIV.  You can "take that to the bank".  At 12 weeks (you are close enough to use these figures) well over 99% of tests that will be positive will be.  When you combine this fact with the fact that, if your partner was infected, you chances of getting HIV from an UNPROTECTED encounter would be less than 1 in 1000 and, finally the fact that it is very unlikel that she was infected, it is far more likely that you'll be hit by lightening in the next day or two than have HIV.  Hope this helps.  EWH

Please read my response.  To repeat, you do not have HIV so, if your concern about HIV is keeping you from having sex with your wife, that concern is not justified by the facts.  EWH
