Am I in a RISK

Dear Doctor,
I had an exposure last month.  It was with a transgender girl. I spent  two days with this T-girl. I received oral sex without condoms many times and I used condom for  anal sex every time (I was the top every time). I didn't notice condom break or slip. She did anal fingering to me using her saliva as lubricant. I saw she used same finger to do fingering herself too same time. Due to fingering, my anal opening was bit damaged and I saw some blood came. After that we stopped fingering. She did some rimming to me even there was a slight cut due to fingering. We had deep kisses many times too.
We share same bed for two days. When I asked her about her HIV status she said she check last April and it was negative. She is 24 years old kind of a sex worker.
During the end of 4th week I had severe sore throat, flu and leg joint pains for 4-5 days. After that everything became normal.
Now I am wondering whether I have been exposed to HIV during my acts.
I found that ARS symptoms comes between 2 - 6 weeks and last 1 - 2 weeks.
1), I am in a very stressed situation and could you please advise me?
2), Should I test?
3), Can I test during the 12th week of exposure or Should I wait to complete 12 weeks and in 13th week I should go for a test?
4), I am married and I avoid having sex with my wife giving excuses. Can I have normal sex with her (unprotected) in this situation?
5), Even oral Sex is said as safe, doing long time with can increase the risk?

You need to be patient. Your question is not being ignored.  We answer questions as we have time.  We do not man the staff 24/7/  The MedHelp standard is that all questions will be answered within 24 hours of being posted.  We do far better than that.

The activities that you describe are considered safe sex.  There are no cases of HIV which have been acquired through receipt of oral sex and condom protected sex is also safe sex as long as the condom is worn throughout the sex and does not break.  Rimming, and masturbation are likewise considered safe sex.  Thus, from a medical perspective, there is no medical indication that you need testing.

1), I am in a very stressed situation and could you please advise me?
I am providing you with information to make your own decision,

2), Should I test?
Testing is a personal choice.  As I told you above, the activities you describe are considered safe sex and would not typically be an indication for testing unless you need to do so for your peace of mind.

3), Can I test during the 12th week of exposure or Should I wait to complete 12 weeks and in 13th week I should go for a test?
Testing at any time more than 8 weeks after your exposure will provide you with reliable information.

4), I am married and I avoid having sex with my wife giving excuses. Can I have normal sex with her (unprotected) in this situation?
As I said, the activities you describe are considered safe sex.

5), Even oral Sex is said as safe, doing long time with can increase the risk?
There are no data on how the duration of oral sex changes risk for HIV.  As I said, there are no well documented cases of HIV acquired from receipt of oral sex, no matter how long the encounter lasted.

I hope these replies are helpful to you.  EWH

Final, repetitive explanation.  Your symptoms are consistent with a flu-like illness that people get from time to time. Just because persons around you do not have similar illnesses does not mean that this is anything else.  Scientific studies have shown that when persons present with symptoms such as yours, over 99% have illnesses other than HIV- mostly flu-like illnesses caused by a variety of community acquired viral illnesess.

Nothing more to say.  EWH

Dear Doctor,
Thank you very much for your comments and I am extremely sorry for my impatient.
My main worry is the high flue and sore throat I got at the end of 4th week of exposure without any reason. There was no such an infection around the area I lived and nobody else got such an infection even my family. Those who lived with me and stay very closed to me during that time.
I can not easily avoid these symptoms.

Do you have a clear medical explanation? I had flue and sore throat with leg joint pains for about 4 days. When I saw a doctor he said it was due to Pharyngitis.
