The answer is obvious from my previous replies. Since there is no risk of HIV from hand-genital contact, of course there is never a need for testing following such events. Why did you need to ask?
This thread is over.
Sorry Doctor, I saw my request has been deleted.
Please please doctor, this is the LAST question . Please give your answer , that there is no need of HIV test for the persons who has only hand - genital contact.
PLEASE PLEASE DOCTOR.
"Please let me know if anybody in this world has been suspected to have acquired HIV through masturbation."
It has never been known to happen. As far as I know, there's never been even a suspicion.
Hello Doctor,
One more question, please answer,
I just read your site about 14 MYTHs about HIV transmission, In this it is included, "masturbation can transmit HIV" which means, there is no chance of transmitting HIV through masturbation however or whatever be the situation incurred when receiving the masturbation,
Please let me know if anybody in this world has been suspected to have acquired HIV through masturbation.
Please doctor, answer these questions, I will not ask any if or but hereafter
Welcome to the forum. Thanks for your question.
HIV is not transmitted by hand-genital contact, contact of any kind with women's breasts, massage, or contact with saliva. Sexual transmission is known to occur ONLY if a bare penis (no condom) enter's a partner's vagina or rectum (or maybe mouth, but very rarely if at all). There are no exceptions -- no matter what other circumstances may come to mind about these events, there is nothing you can add that would change my opinions or advice.
Those comments imply the answers to your specific questions, but so there is no misunderstanding:
1) You do not need testing for HIV.
2) You indeed should ignore these events and move on.
3) If these are your only sexual experiences outside your marriage, you can safely continune unprotected sex with your wife.
I hope this has been helpful. Best wishes-- HHH, MD
