Possibilities

Hello doctor.

I am 27 years old male from India currently living in canada. From the last 26 I am under alot of stress.I went to russian escort she looks 30 yrs had unprotectd oral sex and protected vaginal. In the start she tried to suck my penis but in 10 seconds i stopped her and asked her to stop.she licked under and around my scrotum that happened for 15mns i *** in her mouth. She also spit in my uretha for once when i was lying down the bed.

My symptoms are-
1-After 4 days i had sore throat  no pain in my throat but a little cough after that  sore throat  went away again my throat became dry after 5 or 6 days with little cough.no fever.

I had basic std test done after 13 days post exposure and all negative.(hiv, syphills, gonorrhea, chlamydia, hep)Blood test.

.I started feeling some burning feeling on my left neck on 27 dec 2012. i work at night and never out to sun .I went to doctor and he said there may be many reasons for this burning and he prescribed me betamethasone valerate 0.1% cream and ask me to appply for 7 days.I am on 6th day but the burning is as it is.What i think is burning is increased a liitle and covering more part and includes back of shoulder as well there is no rash or no redness on there. On 5th day i.e (31 dec 2012) I developed two yellow spots(circular dots) on my tonsils.I thought it might be due to herpes and  I went to other doctor he did my physical examination and said it is not herpes and neither it  is pus and said tonsils can trap food particles and it looks like the same..He checked my genitals and all lymph nodes and ears and didn't see anything abnormal. But my main concern is burning on skin on my  as i am scared it might turn out to hiv rash.

My questions-
1-What do you thing about burning on my skin is this due to hiv?I read on other forums that u say hiv symptoms develops in about 20 days.and my burning started on 21st day after exposure.
2-Yellow spots on tonsils are they signs of hiv?

Last answer:

The yellow spots on your tonsils are normal.  They are normal lymphoid tissue.

As I already said, the burning sensation in no way suggests HIV.

This will complete this exchange.  EWH

Thanks in advance.

The discomfort you describe may well be a manifestation of your anxiety.  I doubt that it is anything serious or that doctors will have anything to offer to help if there is nothing thatthey can easily see on your examination.  EWH

Thankyou so much sir for ur help.I will not worry at all  other then that i will be going for hiv test at 5 or 6 weeks. You have a very vast knowledge and experience and I believe in you
.Just please answer my one more question. Can you please tell me why there is continous burning sensation at my neck .It started at one point initially on neck but now i feel the sensation is covering more area like a lilltle back of shoulder and neck.I went to two doctors and they were not able to explain me and one doctor said its nothing and other doctor prescribed me cream that i told you before .Infact my skin from there looks very normal and no dryness or redness at all. What I see is when I come form outside as it is -25 degree celsius outside since last month and there is heat inside my home I feel more burning when there is heat in my room and when i switch off the heat i feel less burning sensation.Sometimes burning is less sometimes more, sometimes its on and off but whenever i stretch my shoulder and neck at one point i always feel that burning sensation. What do you think might be the reason for burning?Do you think this burning will turn to rash in few days?is this a pre symtom of a rash build up?
As everything is closed today clinic will be open tommorow I can only go and visit doctor tommorow and request for a skin doctor to see this.I dont know why they think it is nothing as i know this is sign of something is inside me like might be some virus?

I have never experienced this kind of thing at my neck before even i never had any skin problem before. And being this after my exposure it scares me so much i cant sleep. My new year is just started for all sadness and scare.
Thankyou so much for your help .
Happy new year sir.

It saddens me that you continue to worry so much about the low risk exposure that you posted first on the STD Prevention Forum.  The events you described were no risk at all for HIV.  Condom protected sex is safe sex and no one has ever been proven to get HIV from receiving oral sex- you are not going to be the first.

The symptoms you describe are in no way suggestive of the rash of early HIV infection.

Regarding your specific concerns:
1-What do you thing about burning on my skin is this due to hiv?I read on other forums that u say hiv symptoms develops in about 20 days.and my burning started on 21st day after exposure.
This is not a sign of early HIV.

2-Yellow spots on tonsils are they signs of hiv?
Absolutely not.

3-When i ejaculated she totally closed my penis inside her mouth and there was no environment factor anymore.i heard that if Hiv virus comes in contact with environment it becomed dead. What is the possibilty i could have acquired hiv at that moment.
No, see above.

You need to figure out a way to get over your conerns about the exposure you described. You really have nothing to worry about.  EWH
