Oh please. As I said above, despite your statement to the contrary, HIV would not survive in the milk-oil lubricant used on you.
This will end this thread. EWH
Not that I think someone ejaculated into the lubricant, but just wanna be sure that even if some semen on the outside of bottle were not exposed to air (not dry, covered by milk and baby oil), it would still be safe. Thank you.
Doctor Hook,
Thank you so much for your patience and understand. Please allow my very last follow-up.
I understand that the virus cannot live upon exposure to air. For that to happen, the drying of semen cells needs to take place. However, if the semen is ejaculated directly into lubricant, there would be no drying (within 5 minutes) and thus the virus cannot be rendered inactive???
Thank you again. This will really be my last question.
You seem to argue that you are at risk. This is not a debate. You asked for my assessment and I gave it. Now you are arguing and extending your earlier “what if” concerns.
1. The virus begins to die immediately on exposure to air. Damaged virus is no risk and does not cause infection.
2. Sorry, I don’t know why you would think that a mixture of milk and baby oil would be an "ideal” environment for HIV but that is just microbiologically wrong. HIV grows/survives only within cells.
3. Temperature is important for survival of HIV and the virus survives best at body temperature. Despite this, there is no practical reason to think that the lubricant used for you was infectious.
4. Further arguing. Here is a FACT. No one has EVER gotten infected through masturbation. "Fingering" is masturbation. Transfer of infected secretions directly or indirectly in the manner you imagine (since you really do not know that there was transfer OR that they was infected if there was transfer) does not transmit HIV.
You need to relax. This was not a risky exposure. EWH
Doctor Hook,
Do you mind looking at the follow-ups for me? I am not sure the other comment has gone to you or not.
Thanks!
Doctor Hook,
Thank you for your reply. Please kindly allow me to ask some follow-ups:
(1) Could you clarify on "virus does not survive outside of the body"? I remember reading some of your past posts in which you wrote that it takes several minutes for the virus to lose infectiousness when exposed to air.
(2) Also, you wrote that HIV needs water with salts to survive. I was afraid that the milk provided an ideal environment for the HIV semen to survive. Since the bottle was brought in right before the session, it is likely that some fresh semen are still on it, and covered by lubricants (not being exposed to air, not dried, and thus still active).
(3) Does the warmth of the bottle help render the virus inactive? The lubricant felt warm on my body, so it had a temperature that was slightly higher than body's.
(4) Can I think of this scenario similar to INSERTIVE FINGERING which realistically has no risk? The vibrator is similar to the size of a middle finger. But I am afraid the semen it brought into my rectum is more than a finger could because semen might be covered with lubricants.
I really appreciate your comments. Thank you very much!
Welcome to the Forum. There is no risk for HIV transmission form the activities you describe. There are several reasons for this. Most importantly the virus does not survive ourside of the body, even if it were to be mixed with milk and baby oil. Further, it is unlikely that the lubricant was contaminated, that you had hemrrhoidal bleeding prior to the events described does not change my assessment in any way. There is no reason for concern and no need for testing.
I hope this response is helpful to you. EWH
