Thats me finally stoped worring, my illness is due to something else, hopefully nothing to bad.

It is time to stop posting baseless, anxiety-driven questions. Take it to the HIV support forum if you want to continue the dialog.

Sorry Doc, me again.
Im not sure if you got the jest of my question.
Ive only had the 1 hiv elisa test at 6.5 weeks after the last exposure which was in JUly of this year, havent had again as doctor seems to believe its final.
What I meant by all the "other" tests, were routine other blood tests checking for Athritis, iron , thyroid and many more.
Are you still under the opinion that this is fine and my sympyoms are not hiv related?
Promise this will be my last post.
Thanks.
I also forgot to say that I had a full std test end Nov, which is almost 6 months after exposure, which all came back negative.
These included Herpes, Syphillis, Gon, Chlamydia etc. Is this adequate time for these tests to show ?
Doc said im wasting my time and money for hiv test, is the exposure that low of a risk.
Thanks
I understood your questions and concerns. I stand by my original reply. You do not have HIV. I have no opinion about other causes for your symptoms, except to repeat my suspicion they are psychogenic, not physical.
You didnt even need a test
Yes, If you had HIV, yes the test would be positive by now. Therefore, your test results prove that your symptoms are not, and cannot be, due to HIV. No online provider can give the answer you seek. If all the doctors you have seen believe you have nothing serious, that also is my opinion. It seems you can be certain you have no serious physcial disorder, but your symptoms are typical for depression and other mental health disorders. If not yet done, you should ask your doctors about that possibility.
Sorry I cannot be of greater help.
Good luck---- HHH, MD
