unprotected prostitute

hello doctor.i had a brief unprotected vaginal sex with a prostitute in England uk,it lasted about 30 second to 1 minute max.i phoned the prostitute numerous times and she was offended and annoyed that i asked her and she guaranteed she had no hiv or other stis.anyway more importantly onto my tests.i have had 4 x 4th generation duo ab/ag tests at 3.5 weeks, 4.5 weeks,6.5 weeks and finally at 12 weeks at the local GUM clinic, all came back negative, also i was tested for ghonerea , chlamidya and syphilis at the same times, all negative.so my questions are,AM I TOTALLY,CONCLUSIVELY NEGATIVE OF HIV, AND WOULD MY TESTING OVERULE ANY SYMPTOMS BOTH PAST AND IN THE FUTURE FUTURE ?????as an anxiety sufferer it would be great to get some advice, the clinic have stated that i need no further testing.thankyou in advance

Welcome to the Forum.  I considered providing you with a one word answer - YES- to tell you that the tests that you describe clearly prove that you did not get HIV or any other STI from the exposure you describe.  There are numerous reasons I can say this including that most CSWs do not have HIV or other STIs, that most exposures to infected partners do not lead to infection, that the brevity of your exposure makes infection unlikely, but most importantly that the tests have had provide conclusive results.  There is absolutely no reason for you to continue to worry and no need whatsoever for further testing related to the exposure you have described.  Please do not worry further.  EWH

cheers doc.as an anxiety sufferer my biggest worry is that this episode will come back to bite me on the backside.the people at the clinic said thats not possible and that any previous or future symptoms will have absolutely no connection to this episode,i take it from what you stated in your reply that you agree with this sentiment?????
