Thanks, you are a great help and a wonderful person to turn to when I have a problem. So now I will continue taking the medication, do some exercise and hope to be able to live a very long time. Thanks again for all your help. Joe
You've had it several years to have that low of a CD4.
My doctor started me on Atripla so far my body hasn't had any problems with it, I take it at night prior to bed time. So far no problem sleeping, but I have a nagging couch comes and goes. do you think the virus could be causing it. Hardly any Diarrhea anymore. But, Like I stated in my earlier email, my CD-T-cell were 246, I know thats below 300 and my Viral Load was 22,000. Based on these two reading do you think I have been HIV+ very long? My doctors seems to think I have had this virus in my system for approx. 10 years but I don't think so. What to you think? I do appreciate all of your help so far, I take it one day at a time, work/exercise and don't think about the HIV+. Just wish I could get my wife to get tested, She refuses, I know she is okay. Thanks Again for all your help.
From your experience do you think she knows what she is doing. Please I hope she does for my life is in her hands.
Find a new doctor that knows what they are doing.
Thanks so much, She did give me a Pneumonia Shot, Hepatitis A Shot, She said I was immune to Hepatitis B since I had already taken it in the past, I will have a chest xray friday to see how my lungs are and a TB Time Test next month. I am new at this I just hope she is doing the right thing, she mention that she was going to start me out on Atripla which is only 1 pill, how do you feel about the medication the doctor is going to prescibe for me. I to can't understand why she didn't start me off immediately on the medication.
Checking to see what medication you can take? Unless she is doing a geno test she could and should have prescribed the meds to you on the spot. Your CD4 are not far from AIDS classification.
Please can you explain what you mean,, My doctor is checking to see what type of medication that she will be giving me, My health she says is great and I feel fine right now. Now you have sorta sacred me, please explain what you mean. Thanks
better change doctors then
I just got back from the doctor, the doctor said my current Viral Load is 22,000 and CD-4 count is 246, what I want to know is that good, still not given any medication.
