HIV positive, just got my results

Hello everyone,

I just found out, that I am positive. Everything was very strange, because I tested negative with 3-rd Gen HIV ELISA test at 3 months, but I am still feeling unwell, I have headaches every single day, sore throat that is not going away for 2 months, swollen lymph nodes, also pain at the heart area, so my doctor ordered a Western Blot. I just got my results and it's positive, He told me to go on Monday for further management. I am from Austria, but I work in SIngapore. The law here says that if you're positive you have to leave the contry and get permanent ban from entering in the country.

On the other hand, the doctor told me that the HIV subtype here is very hard to detect and progresses to AIDS very fast. I am not sure if the doctors in Austria are familiar with this strain. I really don't know what to do.
What is the first thing that I should do?
I am so scared now. I don't know what to do and how to tell this to my parents and girlfriend...
I am 25 years old, how long do you thing I will live?
Please HELP!

Can you give your professional opinion instead of writing BS?
I am super confused now and need to know what to do. Obviously the 3 month window period is not real. And YES, the window period for CRF A/E differs from subtype B window period. I spoke with a doctors about that, even Dr. HH Hnadsfield says so. I don't know where do you get your information from, but obviously you are wrong here.
Don't get me wrong, I don't want to argue with you. I really need help now!

You have a mistake here. I am not here to argue with you, I've already told you, if you want to help, I will be very grateful, if not, let somebody else does.
Let me visit my doctor today and discuss with him. I promise I will give you all the details about my case.

I am not here to convince you, this is how it is. When I get the CD4/CD8 count done, I will pass them to you for a reference.
And I can't understand why are you so stubborn when even the doctors confirm that CRF A/E is different in many aspects.

Move on, CFR subtypes are detected by all tests. You don't have HIV.

Teak,

Really I am not talking BS, This is what happened. I had sex with a Thai sex worker, no antbibody test here in SIngapore was able to detect anything at 3 months. But I still have sore throat and really really swollen glands, I went to infectious desease 4 times, they didin't know what to do. That's why my doctor ordered WB.

But whatever, for you any case that differs from the ones in the books is BS. but it really happens...
And I can prove that to if you wany, I can scan all my results and send it to your e-mail! Then I want to hear your explanation... BS right?
You make this forum useless!
