HIV research clarification

10 to 15 years ago, HIV/Aids was considered to be a deadly condition. But in 2021, it is not addressed the same way. And, according to a new research article they confirm that patients who have the virus can marry and even have children. And, they mention that untraceable level of the virus is equal to untransmissible status. Further, when I was going through some articles, I read there are 2 cases of complete cure of HIV as well.

Hereby, I would like to know the opinion from the medhelp experts regarding my understanding(above passage) about the disease. Is it 100% true? or are some of the facts hypothetical?

And, I would like to highly appreciate all the experts who take their time for helping millions of people by answering all their questions daily and supporting everyone.

Modern medicine is an amazing thing and has come a long way.  Thankfully.  And that includes in the understanding of HIV. Modern medicine has created treatment for the disease and prophylactic medication for those who are sexually active with an HIV positive partner. We now understand how it is transmitted and many of the ins and outs of it.  Knowledge is power. So, I agree that it is no longer a 'death sentence' and many live longs lives with HIV.  As long as one has access to the modern medicine to treat it.

Are they really cured or are they just showing a negative result due to use of modern medicine?
