He's my best friend, my boyfriend, my everything.

My boyfriend is HIV positive.  We never had sexual contact and we have been dating for almost 3 years.  I love him with all my being.  I want to become his wife.  We don't have sex because of the fear of him affecting me.  Can we ever have a safe and healthy sexual relationship?  We started out as friends and when things started to get a little too close, he told me that he was HIV positive.

Thanks for your advice.  Please forgive me if I caused any upsets or problems for certain individuals who don't accept me for coming onto this forum to ask a question.  I will decline my membership.  I just wanted to hear the opinions of others like yourself and my boyfriend without prejudice.  Thanks for taking the time out to answer my concerns.  God Bless you.
