tried it and it did nothing for me and my illness
If you don't mind me asking, how long did you take mona vie? I have a good friend and her brother is HIV positive. I know with monavie, it builds your red & white blood count and it seems to help from any cellular damage. I realize that a person with HIV already has cellular damage, but if we could protect the good cells, maybe, just maybe there could be a positive outcome of long term use of monavie. It isn't a miracle drug, nor do they claim to cure anything, but it is good nutrition. Rebuilding the immune system would be the key thing.
I just know that a bunch of the CFIDS sufferers have tried it with me we went to the meetings and the whole sales pitch We all really felt it was a pyramid scam but I tried it for several months and really did try to make it work for me but I felt no difference
thanks for your effort. I'm not in to the selling end of it. I just would like to help whoever i can.
I do know a couple of people that do swear by it though
I have passed the information on to a doctor in Atlanta, Ga to see what he thinks about it. I know what it has done for me, even though i'm not HIV positive and just wish there was some way to help my friends brother and others that are suffering from this illness. Good luck and thanks for all your info.
There is no way I can know for sure, of course, but I am very skeptical that your question is not simply a poorly-disguised attempt to promote this multi-level-marketing fad for your own financial benefit by attempting to dupe people with a serious illness.
There is absolutely no good evidence that Monavie has any positive effect on health
whatever. Testimonials are not good evidence.
The Monavie website states only that it contains phytonutrients and antioxidants. You can get just as many antioxidants by eating a red Delicious apple for under a dollar as by drinking Monavie at $7 or more per 8-oz serving.
Testimonials, such as the one from "happy2bhere46", are worthless as evidence.
If you "feel better" after you start drinking Monavie, it is surely due to the placebo effect.
Sure, it would be fun to believe that Monavie is a magical healing elixer, but one has to examine the evidence and there isn't any for Monavie. Proper evidence would consist of multiple randomly controlled double-blind trials in humans with a control group, conducted by an independent organization over a significant period of time and with a sizeable and select population.
Instead of buying Monavie, spend your money on whole, fresh produce such as leafy greens and brightly-colored fruits and vegetables. Enjoy their freshness, texture and taste and you will also get their phytonutrients and antioxidants which may have healthful effects.
This is a forum for individuals who are HIV positive or have AIDS to connect and support each other.
I am HIV poz, but that has nothing to do with my view of Monavie. Here it is!!! My sister had a Monavie party last week. The whole time I sat there the ONLY thing I could think was that this sounds like a SCAM. If I make money u make money. The juice may be good for ya but I am sorry........I will not fall for it!!!!!!
