Am I the Worst worried well??

Despite being given answers to my questions in the HIV prevention community and searching a zillion more websites.I am still unable to move on.My situation is that, I had a sexual intercourse with a CSW(double bagged condoms)...some days later I got to know that double bagging was dangerous!...and then my memory faded whether the condom was broken or not!..I panicked and despite not being in a relationship at that time..i was guilt ridden!..I had TRIDOT tests at 7 weeks and 13 weeks and a DNA PCR at 7 weeks!!..All NEGATIVE..But a lot of websites say that TRIDOT tests are outdated and reliable only at 6 months!..Is it true?Or am I over thinking stuff??These 3 months were hell for me and still are!...Do i Still have to wait for 6 months because doctors from Indian websites state the same OR 13 weeks tridot tests are sufficient to prove my negative status??...I am in a monogamous relationship now and I want to lead this life and forget about my mistakes!!!...OR IS IT TOO LATE??

What can I say that has not already been said by those more eloquent than I? Nothing, because both Joggen and Jean Claude have given you excellent advice. But, I did want to address one of your questions.

No, you are not the worst worried well, not by a long shot! When I want to see the absolute *worst* of the worried well, I have only to look in the mirror. I tested many more times than you. Thing is, just as it was for me, your time on this forum is an excellent opportunity to get educated on all things HIV. My guess is that you have Googled this topic until your fingers bled and your eyes nearly fell out. That would be a mistake.

Instead, listen to what others have told you here, because it is rock solid in terms of accuracy. Like you, I was lucky enough to run across this site, and as a result, became educated about HIV and means of transmission. And now, also hopefully like you, I don't worry so unnecessarily about it.

But, like Jean Claude has pointed out, while you had no risk this time, be sure to learn how to use condoms properly. Good for you that you knew to protect yourself, though. Just be sure to, you know, always use them outside of a committed relationship, and know how to use them. Just my 2 cents.

Be well.

As you now know, using two condoms at once is not recommended due to the risk of double condom failure. Regardless of what your "memories" are telling you, if your condom(s) failed, it would be very obvious as the would look like a frayed"hula"hoop" around your penis. Condoms do NOT just develop a small hole, when they rupture, it's catastrophic. Since it's apparant that your condom(s) did NOT fail, you were NEVER at risk for HIV. I recommend, you stop surfing the Web  regarding HIV as there is alot of misinformation to fuel your fears. Your excessive NEGATIVE HIV test results prove you are HIV NEGATIVE. Please move on and in the future please use condoms appropriately.
