Your test was conclusive. Five days makes absolutely no difference. You do not have HIV. Please take up any additional concerns with a mental health professional. This thread is over.

i got a test at exactly 85 days and i had the rash that was identicle to the primary hiv infection at 83 days. my test was negative. can i move on with my life or should i get tested again. the reason im worried is because all of these symptoms happened around the time i got tested. thanks for you help joggen please respond
At 1 month 90% of people will develop detectable antibodies. Your rash doesn't mean anything because a rash can be due to things 100's of times more common than HIV. Your test is a good sign and you shouldn't expect it to change.
the one thing i have a question is that since i got the test 1 day after my rash could there not be enough antibodies that are detectable yet?because they say it could take a couple weeks after the primary infection for antibodies to be detectable. is that possible? please give me a educated answer it will help me.
"No, your symptoms do not resemble those of acute HIV infection, and you can't diagnose your HIV status based on symptoms."
thanks for your help but you didnt comment on my rash or symptoms like i asked. please do so
It's highly unlikely that you will test positive because:
1. You don't even know that your partner is infected.
2. HIV is rare in your average "unknown female" in the US (assuming this is where you are).
3. HIV is transmitted at a frequency of 1 in 1000-2000 episodes of vaginal sex, IF the partner is infected. It often takes several months or years of unprotected sex with a positive partner before HIV is transmitted from female to male or vice versa.
No more comments please. Feel free to report the result of your HIV test, otherwise additional posts will be deleted.
what about the rash joggen? and the symptoms are basicly what i see when i read up. please elaborate on why i would not be hiv positive please. thanks for your help
