2 x Insti tests 2008 after exposure

Hi Doc

In 2008 I had unprotected vaginal sex, after which i was found to have some sort of infection in my uritha (non specific) was the diagnosis from the gum clinic...took meds and it cleared up.

I took an hiv insti test (60sec) at 3 months and another at 5 months post exposure at a private london clinic both were neg for antibodies.

I have not put myself at risk since the event in 2008 but im having a few opportunistic infections at the moment... Fungal infection on both big toe nails all the way back to the cuticle and oral thrush, pain in my muscles, legs.

My question is....can I be absolutely sure the 2 insti tests i took in 2008 were completely conclusive?

just worried

Cheers

Hello

I think you need to consult with your family doctor /physician about the fungal infections etc.

Best wishes, Sean

Hi Doc...thanks for your reply.
What can I do about the oral thrush and the toe nail infection? Do I need a course of Anti Bi?

Cheers

Hello

The two INSTI tests are secure. You are HIV negative from the event you have been afraid of.

best regards, Sean
